I'm from Figueres an small city on the north-east of Catalonia. It is amazingly nice. In the middle of the Empordà's plain, Figueres is the main crossroad between the routes to the Costa Brava and to France. Surronded by mountains and the sea you must visit it. It is particularly special in autumn when the Tramuntana wind plays with the falling leafs and the migrating birds, everything under the sunset light. Kind of surrealistic images that inspired one of the best painters of history: Salvador Dalí
