The Molecular Modeling and Bioinformatics Group (MMB) is a prominent research team located at the Institute for Research in Biomedicine (IRB Barcelona) in the Barcelona Science Park.

- Mission: To represent and understand the behavior of living organisms using fundamental rules of physics and theoretical calculations.

- Macromolecular Dynamics: Analyzing protein interactions and flexibility using massive molecular dynamics simulations.
- Nucleic Acids: Simulating and examining anomalous DNA structures, drug-DNA interactions, and antigene/antisense therapies.
- Bioinformatics: Developing algorithms to predict the pathological characteristics of genetic mutations and data mining genomic DNA.
